It started with my own frustration.
I was hunting and competing, and I wanted ammunition I could trust completely — consistent performance in the field, reliable results at the range, and nothing that made me second-guess my gear when it mattered. Factory loads weren’t getting me there, so I started building my own.
What began as load development for my own rifles quickly became something I couldn’t step away from. The process of working up a load — testing, refining, documenting, and finally shooting a group that tells you it’s right — became something I genuinely loved. I wanted to share that with the people closest to me. My dad. A few friends. People who cared about their shooting as much as I did.
That circle grew. And Jessup Ammo Works grew with it.
Built With Purpose
We are a federally licensed Type 06 ammunition manufacturer, dedicated exclusively to the production of precision rifle and pistol cartridges. Ammunition is not a side offering — it is our singular focus.

Our Process
Every process follows disciplined workflows designed to reduce variables and increase consistency.
Component Quality Verification
Brass, bullets, powder, and primers are inspected and matched to the intended application.
Documented Load Development & Precision Assembly
Powder charges are monitored. Seating depth is controlled. Tolerances are maintained throughout the run. Velocity, standard deviation, and extreme spread are recorded. Performance is evaluated before a load is approved for production.
Quality Control Review
Production lots are reviewed before packaging. Random sampling and performance verification ensure consistency within each batch.
Nothing leaves our bench unmeasured.
